Das Blaue Einhorn (The Blue Unicorn) is German band founded in 1991 in Dresden. Their repertoire includes chanson, klezmer, Romany songs, tango, rembetiko, and fado . Paul Horn and Andreas Zöllner founded the band, together with Christopher Bell and Dirk Hessel, for a concert against the Gulf War. Dietrich Zöllner joined the band in 1993; the fourth member has changed frquently. Three of the current lineup studied music; the fourth, Andreas Zöllner, also acts as their sound engineer.
