Artist
Darryl Cotton (born 4 September 1949 in Adelaide, Australia) started his career with award winning rock group, Zoot in 1968, along with Rick Springfield, Beeb Birtles and Rick Brewer. After that he based himself in Los Angeles where he worked and performed with artists including Olivia Newton-John, The Osmonds, Shaun Cassidy and Cliff Richard. He has written songs for Donny Osmond & Marie Osmond, Engelbert Humperdinck and The New Seekers. In 1978, Darryl returned to Australia to release his solo single, "Don't Let It Get to You" which appeared on the album, "Best Seat In The House". His Top 10 hit "Same Old Girl", earned him a Countdown award for Best Solo Male Performance in 1980.
