Since 2004, the musical outfit known as Darla Farmer has been bringing their eccentric and experimental sound to the Nashville music scene. Each band member hails from a different part of the country, (Oregon, Colorado, Illinois, Mississippi, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania). This regional diversity further contributes to their one-of-a-kind sound. Drawing from influences as diverse as Cursive, Blood Brothers, Sublime, and Tom Waits, Darla Farmer brings a fresh and original outlook to music. They incorporate a variety of styles that converge to create an entirely unique, yet universally appealing sound. This is further showcased through their live performance - one that is stylistically sound. Look for their full-length debut album in stores in 2008.
