1) DarkHorse is a Melodic Rock, AOR and Country Rock band from USA. 2) Darkhorse is a Post-Hardcore band from Rochester, New York, United States. 3) Darkhorse is DJ and an artist on Three Sixty Records. 1. Canadian vocalist Paul Laine has had a long and varied career as a solo artist and in the rock act Shugaazer, but is probably best known for his time as frontman for Danger Danger. Laine took over from original singer Ted Poley and spent a decade with the band. After a period working on other projects at his studio he returned to the limelight in 2014 as frontman for Darkhorse and released the excellent ‘Let It Ride’ album. ‘Let It Ride’ features ten tracks of high quality country rock in the vein of Keith Urban etc. 2. Dissatisfied with the lack of teeth in music as of late, Ian McLean and Jay Giacomazzo began writing music for a new project. They enlisted Trevor Reilly and Mike Supina (both of A Wilhelm Scream) to helm the effort. Combining various influences from metal to R&B, Darkhorse brings a visceral sound that combines aggressive music with dark, meaningful lyrics and intense, melodic vocals. The end result is their debut album, The Engineer. Darkhorse is aimed to leave their mark. 3.
