Darkfreaks homebase is Berlin. This city made it possible to create his music today. Especially the underground clubs had an incredible influence on him. Darkfreak was always inspired by the atmosphere there - cold, loud and foggy, and all this in old basements laying deeply under the streets. He is well-known and very popular for his different style of playing and producing Hardcore and Speedcore. His albums represent his affinity to darker atmospheres and very cold and serious themes. The distribution of the albums is made by himself - this way he has freedom to experiment with sound and artwork. Darkfreaks musical style is always developing, he never seems to take a break in progressing his sound forward in perfection and variety. The Speedcore scene loves his albums being played loudly on the smaller parties in (mostly) eastern Germany.
