Having had an interest in piano since childhood, Dark Otaku began attending lessons at around 8 years of age. After only a year of lessons, he began coming up with his own compositions. Fast forward a few years, he hooked up with RedSlash ( http://newgrounds.com/audio/view.php?id=1595732&sub=50928), and began writing collaborative music, which can best be described as moody techno. Eventually, he moved onto writing his own music, using a sequencing program called FL Studio. He stopped taking lessons a few years ago because the school relocated, but plans to start again soon. Dark Otaku is currently attending grade 12 in Northern High School, Toronto. Next year he plans to major in music composition, in Louisville, Kentucky. Dark Otaku also finds it quite unsettling to write in the third person, and is typing this out, during a spare between classes.
