Darius J. Coleman was born in the cradle of liberty, Philadelphia, PA. He is 21 yrs. old but far from juvenile. His musical styling is urban gospel and it is like a breath of fresh air. He has been likened to classic musical artists such as Donnie Hathaway for his silken, heart-warming sound. Darius decided to sign with Regality Records, LLC, a Philadelphia based Indie label, and he completed and released his debut album; I’m In Love With You in February, 2008. Classified as an urban gospel album, it is a reflection of his current relationship with God and a portrayal of a young African American man who has found himself and his way. His message of love is clear, deliberate, and timely. Darius has graced stages and houses of worship locally and abroad. He has also made numerous appearances in the Philadelphia, Thanksgiving Day Parades (2004-2007). In his still early career, he has been featured on a local TBN broadcast which was filmed in April, 2008. The broadcast was aired to millions in May 2008. He was also a featured artist in the Philadelphia Gospel Fest in July, 2008. Darius’ ministry has been called upon as far as London, England and we know this is just the beginning. Everywhere he goes he is able to uplift, encourage, and bless all who are present. His sound is rich and warm.
