Liber Novus Knots confound, knots unite, knots are paradoxical symbols of ubiquitous obstacles and procreant connections, of attachments one must form or tolerate, of the bonds, imagined or real, that one fears or desires. Todd Bowes began writing material for the band in early 2005. That summer, Derek Martin came to apply for the lead/ 2nd guitarist position that no one was seeking to fill, and added another layer. In Fall 2006, Phil Petrie assumed control of the machine. Sebastian Cruells kept time, forcing the machine to become organic and human. Scott Barley took care of the low end. White Washed Miracles was released in April 2010. An early EP, The Machine Roars to Life, was completed in 2006.
