Norway's Danny Andersen has been one of the leading figures in online techno for years now. Starting as a producer of hiphop, Danny made the transition over to dance music after being exposed to jungle that was spreading out of the UK scene. Detroit quickly became the source of his preferred music and soon his own productions began. Danny has developed a calling-card sound since these earlier days, wrapping sharp drums around deep basses and beautiful pads, focusing on minimal shifts and consistent grooves. Like everyone else [at Heavy Industries], Danny's sound travels quite far into the techno spectrum and can fluctuate between hard, in-your-face minimalism to dubby, ambient and funky jams.
