A distinct and highly talented, classically trained musician, Artificial Bliss brings to you the first album release from Danielle Ballantine. A mixture of downtempo grooves, ethereal vocals and live instruments, "Selkie" is a highly unique sounding album perfect for the post-clubbing chill with its atmospheric, uplifting melodies and rhythms. "Music has always had the power to move me, and I love to write music that touches other people. I am drawn to the uplifting sounds of chillout and electronica music, and enjoy combining these styles with live instrumental recordings and a world music influence" - Danielle Ballantine. Danielle currently works from her own home studio in London as a freelance composer, and is a harpist for a folk band called "Elphin", as well as a director for an exciting children's choir with over 50 members.
