Daniele Franchi at 18 graduated with honors at CPM in Milan, where he accompanied various artists among whom Daniele Silvestri. He achieved his Music degree at the age of 18 and later went on to study with Paolo Bonfanti, Pietro Nobile ed Alessio Menconi. In 2009 he went on the Italian tour of "AIDA", a musical with music by Elton John. In the same year he joined the "Zibba&Almalibre" band and recorded "Una cura per il freddo" and opened the concerts of Jack Bruce, Robin Trower, Gary Husband, Africa Unite, Vinicio Capossela and many more. He also recorded the Bob Marley tribute with Double Trouble Featuring Bunna (Africa Unite). Additional credits of his work with Almalibre include his participation in the "2011 Tenco Prize" at Sanremo's Ariston and in "Parla con Me", a TV programme which was broadcast on Italy's national TV Channel 3 (Rai3). DF is currenctly the lead of the "Daniele Franchi Trio" featuring Davide Medicina on Bass and Andrea Tassara on Drums. The band's sophisticated repertoire ranges from Blues to Rock with a variety of influences that are part of his musical background, which has earned him an award as Best Blues Artist in his region. He has also been working with influential Italian and international Blues performers. With the trio he has the honor of playing with artists like Paolo Bonfanti, Guiar Ray&the gamblers, Sean Carney, Omar Coleman, Carvin Jones, John Macaluso, Tolo Marton etc...
