Daniel Rene is a multi-talented singer/songwriter/producer/actor that has been in the music industry for over 13 years. He started out modeling and acting at the age of 9. At 14, he joined the group Menudo/MDO. He sang one of their biggest hits “No Puedo Olvidarme de Ti”. With MDO, he did countless television shows and concerts in the United States and Latin America. After MDO, Daniel Rene signed with the Sony Epic record label in 1999. He collaborated with his mentors, Emilio Estefan, Jon Secada, Randy Barlow, George Noriega, Steve Morales, Diane Warren and Sebastian Krys. In 2003, Univision Music Group released his first solo album “Daniel Rene”, produced by Rudy Perez. It includes “No me tortures” and “El deseo de ti”, a duet with Jennifer Pena. He received nominations for Best New Artist from the “Premios Lo Nuestro” and “Premios Tu Musica” and for best Pop Artist of the Year from “Ritmoson Latino”. In 2007 he released “Adicto”, a Latin Rock/Pop influenced album that includes all songs he co-wrote. This time he collaborated with Randy Barlow, Francesco Sondelli, Cristian Delano, Rafael Esparza, among others. Daniel Rene doesn’t just make music for himself. He co-wrote “Si Yo Fuera Tu” the hit single for Servando y Florentino, off of their Grammy Nominated album. In 2010, The Rhythm Rehab was formed with Michael Cosculluela. A production company “Where music goes to get better”. With Jesse Chirino, they worked with Alondra, the multi-platinum Billboard award winner
