Danger Danger is an American hard rock band formed in Queens, New York, in 1986. The founding lineup included bassist Bruno Ravel, drummer Steve West, and initially lead vocalist Mike Pont, with guitarist Al Pitrelli and keyboardist Kasey Smith also part of the early formation. Mike Pont was replaced by Ted Poley, who had previously played drums and occasionally provided vocals for the band Prophet. The band recorded a demo that led to a contract with Epic Records. Al Pitrelli left the band in 1988, and later contributed to the compilation album "Rare Cuts". Tony Rey briefly joined the band in 1988 and played on part of their debut album before returning to his previous band. Andy Timmons replaced him and completed the recording of the self-titled debut album "Danger Danger", released in 1989. The album included the singles "Naughty Naughty" and "Bang Bang", with "Naughty Naughty" receiving airplay on MTV's "Headbangers Ball". The band toured with Kiss, Alice Cooper, Extreme, and Warrant. Their second album, "Screw It!", was released in 1991 and produced the singles "Monkey Business" and "I Still Think About You". After this tour, Kasey Smith left the band to form Shock with former drummer Michael Bellusci. In 1993, the band completed their third album, "Cockroach", but disputes with Poley led to his departure and legal issues that prevented its release. Paul Laine joined as the new lead vocalist and re-recorded the album's vocals. Epic Records ultimately shelved the album,
