“Songwriter Roger Harvey has a traveling soul. Since his humble upbringing in America’s snowbelt, to his tenures in New York City, Pittsburgh, and Portland, Harvey has never let himself become too comfortable with his surroundings. This inspired restlessness drives Harvey’s musical identity known as Dandelion Snow. It is seldom these days to find a writer as capable and original as Harvey. Although deeply personal in nature, Dandelion Snow’s catalog reaches out to listeners and makes them listen. This is not a facade of pretention, but rather a way of bringing to light something real. Harvey wants us all to know that despite the occasional broken heart or broken van, that the road and its lifestyle is not always dark and lonesome—there is a solace and a passion that lies around every corner, down every long highway. Since releasing two full-length albums and two splits over the last year and a half, Dandelion Snow has toured vigorously and seen this great and mysterious country for what it is. His highly anticipated new album, “The Grand Scheme Of Things”, which was produced by Chris #2 of Anti-Flag, is his strongest and most representable release to date. The title track kicks off the album with colorful verses relaying Harvey’s travels in support of his previous releases.
