Artist
Dana DiAnda has been composing music for 18 years. He plays classical guitar, viola da gamba, and various early wind instruments. He has had his compositions performed in concert and published, and has had his early music transcriptions published. Years ago, while studying composition, he took a film scoring class, which introduced him to the world of computer music, sequencers, and samplers. His passion for this technology, along with a long-time love of video games (going back to the days of the Atari 2600) led to an interest in writing soundtracks for video games. He was the first place winner in the 2005 G.A.N.G. Composition Competition. Currently (September, 2006), he is writing an interactive score for 'Hegemony' by LDA Games.
