Dana Countryman is a Seattle-based musician and composer, who has most recently recorded and toured with electronic pop music legend, Jean-Jacques Perrey. Perrey and Countryman released their CD "The Happy Electropop Music Machine" on Oglio Records in 2006. They followed that with another CD, "Destination Space", also for Oglio Records, in 2008. Perrey and Countryman performed concerts together in Berlin (Germany), Seattle, San Francisco, Stavanger (Norway), Newcastle Upon-Tyne (England), New York City, Montreal (Canada), and Hollywood. The duo stopped recording and touring together in late 2008, due to Perrey's problems with his health. Countryman recorded his first solo MOOG CD for Oglio Records in 2010, and he wrote a biography on the life of his mentor, Jean-Jacques Perrey, which was published the same year. Perrey and Countryman's tune "Chicken On The Rocks" was used on the Comedy Central TV show "SOUTH PARK", as well, during 2010. In 2012, Countryman and his wife Tricia, recorded and released "In Harmony", an album of jazz harmony vocal music, a la "The Manhattan Transfer". In 2013, he recorded and released an album of original vocal pop songs, in the styles of the '60s and '70s, called "Pop! The Incredible, Fantastic Retro Pop World of Dana Countrym
