Damozel is the name of a R&B quartet from Los Angeles, California comprising Lisa, Tasha, Tamisha and Brandy. The group's name was taken from the French name 'Damoiselle' which means 'Young lady'. In their early teens they scored a hit with their debut single 'You don't know me like that' in 2000 taken from their debut MCA Records album. The follow-up 'Everyday's a party' was a smash club anthem produced by then-newcomer Eddie Berkeley which was also taken from the "Two Can Play That Game" soundtrack. That MCA promo advance CD is now an R&B collector. The group is currently busy in the studio laying tracks for their newest project. Their 1st single, Take A Picture" is now playing via web.
