Damon Buxton is an American instrumental acoustic guitarist and composer. He uses silent spaces, open tunings, natural reverb, and double picking to create a beautifully sparse and resonant sound. After initial success with a 2007 release FORGIVING DREAMS, produced by Windham Hill Records founder Will Ackerman and recorded at Ackerman's Imaginary Road Studios, he built his own studio and established a recording collaboration with Corin Nelsen, the Grammy® award-winning engineer responsible for so many of the world's intimate acoustic music recordings.
