· Damian Luca was the first student of Fanica Luca. · He is the ultimate example of a person who loves this instrument. · He made a very big contribution to the development of the techniques on the panflute. · He made many concert-tours in America, Japan, Egypte, The Netherlands, Germany, France, Belgium. At the age of 17 he played in a big show in Olympia, Paris. He played in the Ed Sullivanshow in New York. He played also in Carnegie-hall in New York · He has made many LP and CD recordings with different styles of music on them. From Albinoni and Bach to contemporary music (Time to say goodbye and My heart will go on) and Gypsy music · In his native country -Romania- he has the Title of “Artist Emerite”, to be compared with “Sir” in English. · He lives now in Brussels and was a teacher of the panflute on several music-schools in The Netherlands for 15 years. · His Orchestra: Gypsy Feelings Orchestra.
