Artist
Dalice Malice is the internationally ignored alt-country singer currently residing in Chicago. Born Catholic and a mischivious monster in the northern woods of Mid-Michigan, Dalice grew up salivating for traveling and classic country melodies. Her music mixes the homesick melodies of Hank Williams, Johnny Cash and Tammy Wynette, yet performed with the technical skill and the vicious right hand of Ani Difranco. Since starting her musical career she had the opportunities to played Toronto Pride (2006, 2007 & 2008), The Midwestern Trans Youth Conference (2008), Camp Trans (2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 & 2010), and the queer convergence, Queer in Flux, at Ohio State University (2011). As a former member of the Tr*nny Roadshow, she had the great honor to grace the stages of the University of Michigan, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, The University of Cincinnati, Sarah Lawrence College, The University of Florida, Wesleyan University, as well as a few bookstores, coffee shops and punk house living rooms. Currently, she is gearing up for her 2012/13 schedule, working on her new album Just A Sinner's Daughter & booking two mini tours: one in Michigan (late March/early April) and one out on the West Coast in Early June. She's always looking to play shows--be it a University event, a barroom or even sitting on your living room couch.
