Dakota has played live in venues all over Los Angeles, Hollywood, and Orange County, California. Kota's latest original, "Get Out", is a powerful track that is pending to get on the soundtrack of the upcoming blockbuster New Moon (sequel to mega-blockbuster Twilight). Her songs, “Strong Little Soldier,” and "F-Word" are a collaboration with Danielle Brisebois, co-writer and producer of Natasha Bedingfield’s mega-hit “Unwritten” and newest single “Pocketful of Sunshine", and Wayne Wilkins, producer and writer of mega-hits for Natasha Bedingfield, Leona Lewis, David Archuleta, etc. She's known for her song, "Mistake", that won First Place in the 2007 American Idol Underground Song competition.
