Daisuke Amaya (天谷大輔) , otherwise known as Pixel or Studio Pixel, is the acclaimed creator of the independent game Doukutsu Monogatari, otherwise known as Cave Story. A project taking a grand total of five years, the music, graphics and characters were all created solely by him. He has also created various other games, including Ikachan and Azarashi.
