Dai Tokuji Zendo are the Japanese Buddhist monks of the Rinzai sect of Zen Buddhism located at the Daitokuji Temple in Kyoto. Founded by chanoyu patriarch Sen no Riky-u (1522-91), the Daitokuji Temple became a center of calligraphy connoisseurship within Kyoto art circles.
