Dagger Threat have been pushing the boundaries of heavy music since 2016 and fusing Hardcore with the raw energy of early 2000s Nu Metal. Y2K is in their DNA! Mechanical grooves, glitchy textures, mosh-fueled riffs and a no-frills, all-impact attitude. After the release of their debut "Gestaltzerfall" (2019 via BDHW Records), the Hamburg-based band quickly built momentum with relentless touring across Europe. Their sophomore album "Weltschmerz" (2022), born in pandemic isolation, showed a darker and more emotional side, while the "Unchained" EP (2023) expanded their stylistic range and sharpened their industrial edge. With over 200 shows across 12 countries (including tours with Comeback Kid, Distant and Nasty) Dagger Threat have carved out a reputation as one of the hardest-working heavy acts in the game. 2025 marks the beginning of their next chapter. Following the teaser single "Becoming", Dagger Threat joined Boundaries and Varials for a full EU/UK tour in April, using the road to unveil their evolving sound to a wider audience. Now, their next single “404” takes a deep dive into themes of digital burnout, system failure and emotional numbness. It's the first in a trilogy of connected releases leading up to their upcoming third album, just in time for their 10-year anniversary.
