There are multiple artists named Dagaz. 1) Russian Folk / Acoustic band with nationalist themes. Sole member Yaromir also makes Pagan Black Metal as Grimnir 2) Viking / Death Metal band from Montreal, Canada 3) Swedish Vikingarock band 2) Dagaz began as a personal project by the band's front man Thodrekr Krighammer in 2005. In 2007, Thodrekr had joined Obtenebris as the front man all the while writing more songs for Dagaz and keeping the vision alive. After Obtenebris broke up in 2010, Thodrekr decided to concentrate on Dagaz and turn it into a full band. Sebastien Chauvin, Tom Edwardson and Tylor Lourie joined Dagaz and the band took shape.
