Daddy and the Hot Tea Daddy and the Hot Tea band formed in 2012. The band is a re-union collaboration between old friends who formed a band together in the 90’s. Band members include Aray Daulay, Didit Saad, Ipang Lazuardi and Morris Orah. Aray, didit and Ipang played together in their first band, Plastik, and Morris has played in the Hydrant. This rock band’s first album, ‘big deal’, contains vocals about life, love and society, driven by a vision different from the ‘norm’. Daddy and the Hot Tea is just one of the projects that are currently being worked on by the band members. Up til now, Didit has been working on a few arrangements and has been a session player for other bands. Aray Daulay is still working on Ray d’sky, Ipang Lazuardi continues as the vocalist for BIP and his solo project, while Morris Orah is working on other projects with various musicians.
