Dacia Bridges is a singer an componist born in the USA. Over the last few years she gained a lot of fans for her hard guitar sound. She was the singer of the hamburgian band called "Tape". She released the album #1 with Tape and the two singles "Yeeha" and "Mother". "Yeeha" entered the german media control charts. Together with Tape she supported Kittie, Disturbed, Ojo Rojo, Headcrash und Stone Sour on their european Tour. She also was on the stage at the famous festivals "Rock am Ring" and "Rock im Park". In august 2004 she split with "Tape" and formed Dacia & The WMD (Weapons of mass destruction) together with her Husband Alex Scholpp. Members of Dacia & the WMD =========================== - Dacia Bridges / singer - Alex Scholpp / guitars - Ralf Botzenhart / bass - Alex Menichini / drums This new project is more than a project, it is a band and it’s about the influences of all bandmembers, to be open to all ideas and create something new. They try not to limt theirselfs to one music style. Their self titeld debut album was produced bei Ex-Skunk Anansies Ace. The album contains 14 tracks with rock'n'roll, pop and electronic elements, but it's always rock. "Losing You" is a song with a special guest, a legend: Lemmy Kilmister of Motörhead.
