Chicago based daarling makes gazey and dark sounds, dipping into elements of grunge as well. But they’re not a band who just rehashes the 90s, nor are they chasing trendy sounds, their inspiration from these genres leads them to music that is all their own, and feels really fresh. The band, made up of Andrew Bess (guitar), Erin Lyle (Vocals, Bass), and Rob Kristan (drums) has been playing in the current lineup since 2022, putting out their debut record in October of 23, followed by their new EP "Arrangements to Change" in August this year.
