Daameer (born March 30, 1984) is originally from Serbia (formerly Yugoslavia). He was born at the foot of the Shar Mountains in the town of Urosevac. He is a singer-songwriter and plays multiple instruments, including the bass guitar, guitar, and keyboards. His musical influences are incredibly diverse, ranging from hip-hop, trip-hop, and reggae to soul, funk, punk, metal, indie, and various styles of rock (hard, classic, brit). He also draws inspiration from blues, jazz, chillout, ambient, and soundtrack music, as well as classical and local ethnic music. Encouraged by his friends, he decided to publish his music and began recording his first album, "Lost Memories," which was entirely independently produced and recorded. Released on December 12, 2008, the album features a mix of trip-hop, grunge, jazz, neoclassical, lounge, instrumental, and alternative music, showcasing his softer, dreamy sound. Throughout time, Daameer has been a member of several bands that performed both original songs and covers in genres such as grunge, rock, hard rock, funk, blues, metal, and alternative.
