DYLIS is a hybrid. A colorful Hip Hop, Pop, and Alternative R&B singer/songwriter that began his music making journey in late 2015 - early 2016 where he would release snippets of beats and songs he made with GarageBand on SoundCloud; he first started off with producing beats, and then he slowly grew into songwriting. His music background goes all the way back to when he was a child where he would recall singing in his church’s choir, and listening to his parent’s play several forms of music around the house ranging from Hip-Hop to Gospel. DYLIS’ musical influences stretch for miles, but artists such as Frank Ocean, Kanye West, Drake, PARTYNEXTDOOR, The Weeknd, and XXXTENTACION are his stand-alone favorites.
