There are two artists that perform under the name DLake. Dlake is a DJ from Baltimore Dlake were a noise rock quartet from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, started in 1999 and disbanded in 2004. Their influences ranged from Big Black, Jesus Lizard and Bastro, to German porn soundtracks from the 70s. They played insane live shows, always at skull-crushing volumes, with plenty of histrionics and faux rock star posturing. The band never had an official release; they put out a live EP as a samizdat, and a demo titled Bookabare. They called it quits in 2004 when the guitarist Mirza Puric left the country to pursue his studies in Vienna. The line-up changed in 2004, when Zlatko Moldovan replaced Amir Galijasevic on drums.
