1970's - Fuma grew up as a kid in NH listening to the disco era evolve on Boston AM radio. 1982-1983 - He started hanging out at a roller skating rink listening to rock and new wave and funk. Just a few blocks away was a club called "Club 777". Originally an over 21 club with teen night on Mondays & Tuesdays. Later after losing their liquor license, they turned all under 21. Dancing next to a Michael Jackson impersonator, listening to a track off "Thriller" is when it really hit him... "I had to be in that booth". 1984 - Big hair, parachute pants and this strange thing called break dancing was starting to come into pop culture. Fuma landed a job on the decks in front of crowds in Manchester, NH. Back then he was mixing Rock, Funk, Disco, and Pop for those 8-wheeled skaters at the largest roller rink in New England; Happy Wheels. These were the influential days that taught him exactly what made people move… the energy of the beat. Now many (many) years later, he still pursues that never-ending energetic pulse and lets his natural intuition take over when he gets behind the decks. Interwoven within the thumping of the kick drum, you'€™ll find Brazilian-laced percussion, syncopated rhythms, filtered loops, deep funky bass-lines and wild breakdowns that let your mind immerse itself in the lush sounds and theatrics of the dance floor… "I really never know what I'€™m going to play next.
