Jonathan Ávila (born May 17, 1983 in Queens, New York), better known by his stage name DJ Yonny, is a DJ, producer and remixer. DJ Yonny is an up and coming force in entertainment business. He doesn't stick to the norm, as showcased by the bulk of his resume and accomplishments. A DJ who began as a competition turntablist, this 30 year old NY native had his roots in hip hop but has blazed a path onto the scene of house music . His relentless work ethic has scored him national club appearances, an international tour, and a radio career in the largest market in the US. In less than five years, Yonny has made his mark in the New York City radio market, from producing a top rated morning and mix show on Power 105 and Pulse 87 to being a top Dj on the new 92.3 NOW where he spins live for over 4 million listeners every week on the Weekend Rollout on Fridays as well as the Friday night fix and Saturday night dance factory. But Yonny doesn't limit himself to one facet of the music industry. Besides infusing his signature scratching capabilities into his sets Yonny is also a gifted producer.
