Timij grew fond of music from little up. In 1997 he made his first steps in the field of Djing and began to play French house,U.S. house, Latin house. In 1998 he became a resident of “Griboedov” club. In 1999 Timij took a great interest in 2step/uk garage music, he tried to popularize this style in «Do-Re-Mix» company. Members of this company (Тengiz, Hottabski, Vissardi, Bump) were very exited about 2step/uk garage and soon Timij began to play UK garage in different night clubs of Saint-Petersburg (Red Club, Tunnel, Parъ, Mommy, Amnesia, La beach, Port, Friday, Spartak), took part in festivals, open-airs, private parties. At present time Timij is one of the most interesting DJs of Petersburg breaks scene. He played one scene with AUDIO BULLYS (UK), Matt Cantor (Freestylers), Meet Katie (TCR/Lot49), Drumattic Twins (Fingerlickin rec.), Dj Will Power (Boomfunk MCs), LBJ (Botchit & Scarper rec.), Nick Fury (Children of Dub rec.), Jaywink (Children of dub rec.) Also played on tour in Arkhangelsk, Severodvinsk, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Vologda, Vyborg... As a member of “Hainishtyk” company Timij has organized a number of successfully parties “Planbeer by Fridays” and “Stepptysin” in “Griboedov” club. In music Timij prefer Nu Skool Breaks, Funky Breaks, Jacking House, Breaks Step, Dub Step, Electroshit, 2step/uk garage/grime, Broken Beat, Miami Bass, Glitch, Ghettotech besides, Timij is only person in the city who develops and plays OldSkool Hardcore.
