"DJ Ruj E Kool" is a moniker of multimedia artist Ruji C.. She claims to have put no thought into choosing the name and has told media reporters that she just needed a way to organize her personal audio experiments in her iTunes library. Remarkably, although DJ Ruj E Kool has no musical training and is suspected to be tone-deaf, her experimental mashups and spoken word creations have earned her an interplanetary cult following. Her most successful release thus far is the critically acclaimed, nearly 20-minute-long sequence of all her favorite parts of all her favorite Alanis songs, Alanis Medley by Alanis Morissette & DJ Ruj E Kool, in 2013.
