Artist
DJ Overload found his roots in the highly regarded events held in Portland, Maine by KC and the Sunrise gang, starting in 1988. In 1993, Overload moved his base of operations to Boston, Ma, where he took up residency at Boston’s now famous after-hours nightclub, "the Loft." With Overload's arrival, Boston got its first taste of jungle at a regular weekly club event. It was at this time that Overload became Mission Control's first official DJ. Shortly thereafter, Al Fougy began Boston’s first all drum ‘n’ bass club night, "Jungle Roots," which saw Overload at the helm. In 1997, Overload moved to Washington D.C. Where he shared residency at the 2Tuff crew's drum ’n’ bass event "Urban Space”. Overload is also one of three members of the now defunct "Three the Hard Way" crew, along with Dieselboy (Philadelphia) and Jason Mouse (San Francisco). The list of cities that have served witness to Overload's technique includes: New York City, Washington D.C., Pittsburgh, Boston, Chicago, Montreal, Toronto, Philadelphia, Portland, Hartford, Providence, Baltimore, Indianapolis, among others...
