Ryte is a premier DJ at the legendary HOT 97 in New York City, where she hosts her own show, and mixes an energetic assortment of today’s trending music on weekdays, and a member of the world-renowned Heavy Hitters DJ crew. Before becoming a respected veteran in the music industry, she began her steady rise as an ambitious teenager spinning at parties in Hampton, Virginia. Soon after, she landed at Norfolk’s WOWI-103 Jamz, under the name DJ B*Ryte then continued at Miami’s WPOW-Power 96, West Palm Beach’s WMBX-X 102.3, DC’s WKYS 93.9, Philly’s Boom 103.9, and Houston’s KBXX-97.9 The Box. As Ryte traveled the world as a tour DJ, controlling massive crowds at some of the world’s most notable venues and high-profile events, she became passionate about not just playing music, but creating her own. In 2018, she landed a deal with Rule #1/Interscope Records, under which she released two singles, the club-ready banger “ On & On (feat. Tory Lanez & HoodCelebrityy)” with Tory Lanez and HoodCelebrityy and slow-burner “Unsure (feat. Joey Bada$$, Yung Bleu & Arin Ray)” with Joey Bada$$, Yung Bleu, and Arin Ray. Now, with equal parts hustle, exuberance, and a decade worth of A-list connections, she is emerging as an executive and artist with her own imprint, Ryte Way Music, Inc.
