A Japanese female DJ/ producer who creates dance music filled with originality and utilizes "taiko dub", a percussive and tribal sound, as her weapon. As well as being active as a DJ, she has been prominently active as a music and visual producer and also been assigned as a music goodwill ambassador for Japanese/ Australia ties and recently was invited in Tasmania, for the inaugural voyage of the East Japan ferry, Express Alumi Boat, Nacchan, Rera’ event and to record there as well. She has also released the video clip of her new track, TASMANI@.jp. From the release of DJ Juri/ Taiko Dub EP from Flower Records in June 25th, 2005, with the hit singles, TAIKOON, Syamisen No Utage included Taiko Dub EP series, Part 1-3 which was number 1 in the Cisco house sales charts and has been getting great critical acclaim from a cross selection of places. Also, starting from the Taiko DUB EP series, her original tracks, video clip are available at Beatport. In March 7th, 2007, Flower Records has released, Taiko Dub Mix CD-TRIBAL TRIP which includes 3 tracks from the Taiko Dub EP as well as a new track from her. Also, as a bonus disc DVD, the video clip of the new track, Savanna Trip is included, which DJ Juri herself directed, which furthermore showcases her production sense vividly.
