Make it hard2def, Make it sweat! First of all let’s go away from the overused words of these days, announcing that every second DJ or so-called DJ is one of the most booked, most popular and/or best rated record-spinners in Germany or even in Europe. Miles away from these clichés and the need to make themselves bigger than they are, you can find those, who impress people with quality, skills and their unique ability to rock the crowd. And Hard2Def counts himself to this minority in the spinning community. With over a dozen releases, played by DJs all over the globe and an overwhelming reference list of clubs in countries all over Europe, Hard2Def has not to hide himself. Djing since 1999, he also started his career as a producer at the same time. His debut single “Bounce with me” on the legendary german oldschool label M-Pire Records, made DJs and crowds in european clubs go insane and still counts to the list of the most wanted partybreak vinyls. By producing one clubcrushing single after another Hard2Def made himself the godfather of the partybreak community in Germany and founded a movement, that still lives on. But after achieving his personal goals Hard2Def left this genre to move on to the next level: Producing music instead of remixing it. So he started to work with artists like Jesse Al Malik, Icebear, Mike K.Downing, Boulevard Bou, Big Daddi, D.U.B. and many more, and this work added another couple of records to his discography.
