The enduring passion DJ Fame has for all genres of music stems not just from the influence of his friends and artists he admires, but also from his youth. Amos Damon (DJ Fame) was actively involved in the school band, chorus and keyboard club. Although he quickly impressed his musical instructors with his natural ability to write and read music as well as play it, Fame recognized that these activities would not last forever and searched for other outlets for his creativity. In his early teens, he was introduced to electronic dance music and realized how important the dj was to the party. Fame took notice of each dj’s technical abilities and styles, but above all, he learned about controlling the crowd. Just as with all music, he mastered the art of the dj with fervor, and DJ Fame was born. The past decade has been highlighted with various performances by Fame as he continued to harness the inimitable skills that, combined, created today’s final product. This creation is Fame’s unique blend of hard, funky tech-house synthesized with cuts, scratches and turntable tricks that has been showcased at clubs and parties around the globe.
