Echa Was born in Jakarta 17, February 1982, then at his second year of high school he moved to the little hot island of lombok with his family. Music is always a part of his life, as a kid he began his love in music listening to Stone Temple Pilots, Nirvana, Collective Soul, The Cure, Morrissey, Sound Garden. As a Teenager he joined an industrial rock band I.C.U where he contributed his guitar playing, programming and synthesizing skills through their debut and second indie album and has gain a quite respectable reputation in Lombok and Bali’s underground scene. In 1998 while working part time at a local radio station, he began to know his true love in dance music, His station manager who was a former DJ, introduce him to the world of 2 decks and a mixer. After that he began to work his skills combining seamless mix, dazzling mixing technique and superb scratching skills, and with his vast experience he has become an excellent DJ, a kind of DJ who could know what the crowd wants and has proven to rock many dance floors. Nowadays His musical influenced span from the techno and house of Carl Cox, DJ Dan, Starkillers, Filthy Rich to the ambient and experimental of DJ Shadow, Mono,Portishead, Kut Chemist, and from the hardest rock and metal of Nirvana, nofx, Avenged sevenfold, Crossbreed, Violent Work Of Art, to the God N Goddess of Jazz, Blues and Funk Like Patti La Belle, Louie Armstrong, Fourplay.
