DJ Aspeth started DJing at the tender age of 16, and had her first experience at the decks in front of a crowd one year later, a moment she describes as "the defining hour of my life". It was then and there that she knew she wanted to do that for a living, and now at 21 and with more than two hundred presentations under her belt, the drive is even stronger to bring music to people's lives. Aspeth, real name Karen Alves, has been rocking crowds at clubs and over the internet with her energetic, very recognizable sets. Mixing a tasteful blend of progressive house and trance, she manages to sound unique in a genre where it's so easy to be like everyone else. Aside from her regular performances at clubs in her hometown São Paulo, Brazil and all over the world, Aspeth also releases special sets over the Internet at her homepage, http://www.djaspeth.com.
