DELiGHTED MINT is a hip-hop group who formed in the 1996 by members GIORGIO CANCEMI, VAL ATANGA, and Jun Fujii. They made their debut as a trio in 1999 with the vinyl EP "GROOVE THANG feat. HANA." After this release, HANA became an official member of the group. A truly diverse group of individuals, GIORGIO has Italian roots and VAL is from Cameroon. HANA left the group in 2001 and was replaced by Shiori. The group's last release was in 2003, after which GIORGIO (the main songwriter and producer) became very active in the hip-hop, R&B, and pop music scene, writing and producing music for I THE TENDERNESS, So'Fly, NERDHEAD, Kana Nishino, Mai Kuraki, and more recently TANAKA ALICE.
