Founded by Cihan and Can, DDR have produced their first demo “Post-technik” in 2002. In 2004 their second demo was released and soon after reproduced by the Slusaj Najglasnije! record company in Croatia. Describing their music as dark, cyclic, often atonal and beyond common forms of songwriting, DDR have completed a third demo produced by Barkın Engin and Selçuk Artut of Replikas (Turkish experimental-rock band). Their song “Meinhof” appeared in a compilation “Alternative-rock from Turkey Vol.1” published by Voltaj (Doublemoon) Records in October, 2007. DDR is getting ready to release their first album in 2009.
