There are several groups, known as D.R.S. 1)DRS AKA MC D.R.S. (Del Rok Ski) (born Del Pottinger) Manchester-based MC, vocalist, and producer. Mainly known for his work with Strategy and Konny Kon as part of "Broke 'n' English", and his collaborations with Drum & Bass artists LTJ Bukem and Calibre. He proved to be one of comparatively few rappers who could keep up with the intense rhythmic intricacies of Drum & Bass. Celebrated as one of the genre's most influential and poetic figures. Emerging in the 1990s, he is known for his "soulful delivery" and ability to navigate complex rhythms at 170 BPM with raw, honest lyricism. DRS began as a breakdancer before transitioning to MCing at raves in Manchester and Liverpool. He became a resident at Club Xtreme, which led to his long-standing collaboration with LTJ Bukem and the Good Looking Records camp. Unlike many MCs who primarily host live sets, DRS has a significant discography as a solo artist. His debut album, I Don’t Usually Like MCs But... (2012), and follow-up Mid Mic Crisis (2015) were released on the late Marcus Intalex’s label, Soul:r. 2) DRS is a satirical rap group from Hunterdon County, New Jersey.
