The instrumental alternative rock band Dietrich was formed in 2007 by producers Rodrigo Cursach (HAKINEN) and Hernán Corera (FRISCO). Inspired by the beat culture, they took on the alter-egos of FRISCO and HAKINEN respectively, and began recording tracks like “No me vas a olvidar” (You Won't Forget Me), “Primeras fotografías a color” (First Color Photographs), and “Helsinki”. To convey their vision of the band, they recruited musicians for the project's initial live performances. In 2010, their first EP was released under the independent label Sadness Discos. They premiered a video for the unreleased song “Zentraedi”, which won awards in the U.S. and Spain, and released the single “Caballos de Fuerza” (Horsepower) digitally through Sadness Discos, including two new tracks, “Almirate Brown” and “Caballos de Fuerza”. The current members include Rodrigo Cursach (HAKINEN), Hernán Corera (FRISCO), Nicolás Segura (KOROC), Miguel Mactas (MACOI), and Guido Loustau (WILLOW).
