Düzkontak is a four pice band from TRNC composed of Şerif Ahmet Ege (Lead Vocals), Hakan Yıltekin (Guitars), Naim Güven (Drums) and Sezgin Hergül(bass). Düzkontaks roots originated back to Sakarya. Şerif Ahmet Ege and Naim Güven first started the band in Sakarya. After then band had several gigs in Sakarya. After 2007, the drummer of the band Naim Güven moved to Cyprus for studying journalism. Then bands frontman Ahmet Ege moved to TRNC. There they met with Sezgin (bass) and Hakan (guitars). After several practices they started to perform in and outside the school and quickly gained interests from people.
