Artist
Cyriacus, or Cyriac Wilche Wilcke (* around 1620, † April 26 1667 in Jena) was a German composer of the Baroque era. Wilche worked as a musician at the court of Weimar and Jena from 1662. The godfather of his children was Duke Bernhard of Saxe-Jena. Wilche is today known mainly because of his Battaglia for 2 violins, 3 violas and basso continuo (1659). Wilche may have been the grandfather of Anna Magdalena Bach, the second wife of Johann Sebastian Bach.
