Cyanna Mercury is a rock band from Athens Greece, formed in 2014 by veterans of the local scene, as a vehicle to pursue the perfect blend of Western psychedelic rock and the blues roots, with the Eastern traditional elements of the band's birthplace. The quintet introduced itself live for the first time in Ajaccio, Corsica, in March 2014 performing for the Mezzo Voce TV show, a one hour set of originals. The show aired in December of the same year. The first release for Cyanna Mercury came out in June 2014, a 2-track single titled "Ode To The Absent Father", featuring the title track and "Dirty Things".
