www.myspace.com/cutoutblondemusic facebook: cutout blonde rocks my socks Formed from a mix of London night bus devotees and Milton Keynes concrete goodness, Cutout Blonde are two guys and a girl banging out dance-rock riffs, power-pop beats and rumbling bass lines. With a desire to make your dancing shoes do what they do best they are bringing tight t-shirts, lusty words and a genuine blonde to the country's indie dens. Cutout Blonde are 25 year olds living and gigging in North London. As teens Lee and Chris were in bands together in Milton Keynes, cutting their teeth on the local music scene but keeping their hopes alive by travelling to London to catch their favourite bands. Separated by university, Lee coming to London and Chris going to Nottingham, they met again and formed Cutout Blonde after Lee hit it off at university with bassist and all round sparkle-purveyor Carly. Between Summer 2007 and January 2008 the band hit venues and festivals out of town, developing their live act and writing tight, danceable tunes. Since then, they have been embraced by the North London music scene and are just beginning to make waves. Following a recent gig at Oh! Bar Camden, promoters thetubeclub.co.uk said "Cutout Blonde are a good group that are destined for good things. Its uptempo music that is so now.
